Summary

I joined µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍøBusiness School in March 2020 as Lecturer in Strategy and International Business. Prior to my appointment, I was a Fellow (Teaching and Research) at King’s College London (International Business and Management Group). During my doctoral studies, I was also engaged in research and teaching at University of Leeds and Birkbeck, University of London.

Prior to academia, I had professional experiences in the banking and governmental sector. I worked on various projects, one of which was a report comparing the operations of European firms in China and Chinese firms in Europe for the Directorate-General for Trade, European Commission. 

My primary research interest are multinational companies and the determinants and consequences of their activities abroad. I am also working on topics in the fields of political economy, sociology and economic geography. My work has been published in the Journal of International Business Studies and Journal of World Business, among other outlets. Currently, I am researching how multinational firms innovate and how these strategies impact their performance, and how certain country factors such as the political (e.g. political regimes, corruption) and social environment (e.g. inequality) impact multinational firm activities.

I teach on undergraduate and postgraduate modules and I held the position of Programme Leader for MSc in Management (2020-2021).
