  1. Drag this link to your browser's favourites/bookmarks toolbar/sidebar:ÌýEdit this pageÌýConveniently edit a page you're viewing (if you've permission) by simply clicking your new bookmark!
  2. ÌýAlternatively, appendÌý/?editÌýto the page URL for the same action.
  3. To edit a web page first locate or do the above it in the tree on the left hand side, then click on the it. In the menu click edit.ÌýNext you will see a representation of the page you just created (below). It's divided into two general areas; editable and non-editable placeholders. The editable placeholders (green dashed borders) are for your content. This can be text, images, video players, other templates and much more. What can go into these is set by the site administrator.

The non-editable regions are locked and you will not be able to alter them. These include areas like the navigation and footer.

Click in the 'Title' area of the page (1) and change it to 'about'. Then replace the "MainContent" (2) with some information about you. Next we need to add metadata as we are unable to save the page until it is filled in, please see metadata tab section.

edit2The template we are working with requires an extra description and extra keywords which relate to that page. If you try to save the content the error to the left pops up and you are immediately taken to the metadata page. Press 'ok' and the metadata tab is displayed.
