The Solaris conference network provides a platform for meetings for professionals researching into the areas of solar radiation and daylighting to meet, solar energy conversion systems and efficient energy use in the built environment. It has a long tradition of organizing such meetings (Edinburgh 2003, Athens 2005, Delhi 2007, Hong Kong 2008, Brno 2011, Granada 2013 and Maribor 2015). The main aim of the conference is presentation of state of the art in the solar energy and building energy research, to establish close contact amongst researchers for dissemination of their research outcomes and facilitate professional collaboration.
Selected top ten papers from the SOLARIS conference proceedings will be published in a special edition of the .
For the papers to be selected for this purpose, at least one author should orally present it at the conference.
