µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍøskyrocket up global rankings

µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍøUniversity London has secured a 50-place increase globally in the annual Times Higher Education World University Rankings.

The new 2020 show µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍønow sits comfortably within the top 400 worldwide, with it's 'International Outlook' recognised as amongst the best in the world, ranked 34th on the global league table

The university also did well nationally, gaining six places to land 42nd position among UK universities.

The Times rankings take into account a range of performance measurements which assess the capabilities of Higher Education institutions worldwide. µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍøwas recognised as improving in four of the five measurements:

  • International Outlook
  • Citations
  • Teaching
  • Research

Brunel’s world-class research received particular praise, with the number and quality of ‘Citations’ showing a marked year-on-year improvement.

 “The University is delighted that the work we have put into enriching education and research is being reflected in our improved position in both the world and UK rankings,” said Professor Mariann Rand-Weaver, Vice Provost for Education at Brunel.

“It is a testament to our staff and an illustration of our promise to continually better the µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍøexperience.”
