Robotic sharks, GPS canes and turbo-charged engine designs were all on show at this year's µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍøEngineers, an annual showcase of final-year engineering students' major projects.
Given the unenviable task of choosing their favourite projects, sponsors from prestigious organisations such as Bosch and TWI helped pick 2018’s µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍøEngineers Award winners.

For real time facial expression recognition and heart-rate estimation on Raspberry Pi – a project which set out to develop a novel system to perform emotion recognition and heart rate detection, purely from video.
