µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍøLaw School alumni event at the House of Commons

On 16th November, µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍøLaw School staff, students and alumni were welcomed to the House of Commons for an evening of networking. Hosted by µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍøalumnus Shailesh Vara MP, the sold out event was an opportunitity for current students to gain some wisdom from our graduates. 

Alumni from the 1970s through to 2017 were present, supporting our current students with advice and tips for their future careers. 

The evening started with a welcome speech from Shailesh, followed by Arad Reisberg, Head of µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍøLaw School. Bridget Lavin from the Professional Development Centre then spoke about our mentoring schemes, before Professor Alexandra Xanthaki shared some information on the amazing work being done through the .

During the evening, attendees also had the chance to go on a House of Commons tour.

The µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍøLaw School are introducing two mentoring schemes in partnership with the Professional Development Centre, in-person and e-mentoring, to offer current students ongoing support and encouragement in their studies and for their future.

The next event will be 'µÚÒ»³Ô¹ÏÍøLaw on the Sofa', hosted on 7 March 2018 with Blake Morgan.
